NEW LICENCE CARD APP 'HOOPSHQ' AVAILABLE NOW

We’re asking all Vipers members to make sure they download Basketball England’s brand-new game-day app, HoopsHQ, ahead of the 2025/26 season. The app is completely free and designed as a one-stop hub for everyone involved in basketball.

HoopsHQ brings together everything you need to follow and take part in competitions, including our local leagues such as the TyneMet League and the Durham League. From this season, any league or competition using the new PlayHQ membership and competition system will now be accessible directly through the app.

For players, coaches, and supporters, this means instant access to fixtures, results, league tables, and even basic player and team stats. Where digital scoring is used, you’ll also be able to follow games with live score updates in real time.

Another important feature is that your Basketball England licence card will now be stored within HoopsHQ, making it the go-to place for everything you need on game day.

If you haven’t already, make sure you download HoopsHQ and get familiar with it before the season gets into full swing – it’s going to be an essential part of basketball for us all moving forward.
